Overview

The Anker SOLIX RS40P is a plug-in / balcony solar system. Its microinverter ships limited to 600W and auto-upgrades to 800W AC (up to 799VA continuous) after network setup. The standard kit pairs it with two solar panels (around 820W in the 2 × 410W configuration; higher-output IBC panel variants are also offered).

It is sold in the EU and is obtainable in the UK; plug-in use is not confirmed as legal in the UK. The system is monitored through the Anker app, and Anker quotes a 25-year guarantee of 84.8% panel output.

  • Microinverter ships at 600W, upgrades to 800W over the air
  • Two solar panels (≈820W in the standard kit)
  • Monitored via the Anker app
  • 12-year product warranty; 25-year 84.8% performance guarantee

Reviews & testing

We don't publish user reviews, and we haven't hands-on tested this system for UK use — plug-in solar isn't legal to use here yet, so we can't responsibly review it for that purpose. We won't invent ratings.

When the rules change and we can assess products properly, we'll add independent, evidence-based assessments here. In the meantime, check the manufacturer's documentation and reputable independent reviewers, and see our editorial policy.
