How this is calculated

We estimate generation from your postcode and system details (using Postcodes.io and PVGIS, with an offline regional fallback), then separate that generation from the part that actually reduces your bill. Only the electricity you use as it is generated (self-consumption) saves money; export income defaults to zero. Results are directional estimates for planning, and nothing you enter is stored.
